Star lunch for the launch of the smart oven

A Literal Look Inside the Kitchen. That’s exactly what ATAG – the Dutch premium brand for kitchen appliances – offered to interior and food editors during the exclusive press launch of the new ATAG 8-series ovens. At the brand-new ATAG Live Experience Center, guests were given a fascinating behind-the-scenes glimpse into the design world. Vincent Hofstee, Head of Design at ATAG, and industrial designer Karen Ratering shared insights into consumer behavior and the decisions behind their latest masterpiece.
The new 8-series ovens are designed for cooking enthusiasts who strive for perfection and want to cook like a chef at home. For culinary inspiration, guests were treated to a refined 5-course lunch by Michelin-star chef Niven Kunz and his team from restaurant Triptyque. During the meal, Niven shared his cooking philosophy, Dutch Cuisine values, and his passion for vegetables.
To highlight ATAG’s Dutch roots, the event included a distinctly local touch. Each guest received a shopping bag filled with freshly harvested Dutch vegetables – with the soil still clinging to the potatoes – from local farmers handpicked by Niven. Plus, a copy of the star chef’s cookbook, allowing everyone to discover the chef within.
