Oh, what a year!

The first month of 2026 is already behind us (how did that happen?!), but before we move full speed ahead, we want to pause for just a moment. Because 2025 was one for the books. Or rather: one worth telling in detail.

Four new collaborations to be proud of

In 2025, we were delighted to welcome no fewer than four fantastic new clients. And not just any clients, but brands that truly make our PR hearts beat faster.

De Roode Loper

From the summer of 2025, we have been responsible for full-service PR for De Roode Loper, with the opening event of the new showroom in Amsterdam as one of the visible highlights of the year. A powerful moment to firmly position this inspiring brand and likeable family business within the press. In addition, we also support De Roode Loper with Social Media, ensuring that the story is told consistently and inspiringly not only in the media, but online as well. A collaboration we hope will continue for a long time. And if you’re reading this and thinking, “A stair runner, that’s actually a great idea,” do it. The stores are true candy shops.

ATAG

Our collaboration with ATAG began with a request to support them during the grand opening of ATAG Live, the new Experience Center in Amsterdam. A large-scale event that turned into a major success and a particularly enjoyable partnership. From there, we continued with our full-service PR approach. Later that year, this included organizing a Michelin-star lunch for both B2B and B2C press, marking the launch of the new ATAG 8 Series ovens. A launch with substance, experience and maximum visibility. Did you know ATAG is a truly original Dutch company from the Achterhoek region? No? Now you do. And just like that, another step closer to our goal of sharing this great story with as many people as possible.

TextielMuseum

For the TextielMuseum, we joined the project just four weeks before the start of Dutch Design Week. Four weeks. For a press launch during DDW. Objectively speaking: slightly insane. In reality: exactly the kind of challenge that makes our PR hearts beat faster. Our love for craftsmanship, textiles and design easily outweighed common sense, and we were more than happy to put in a few extra hours.

During Dutch Design Week, we managed the press launch of Re_Work, an innovative and sustainable table linen collection designed and produced in the TextielLab of the TextielMuseum. The launch took place during a carefully curated press breakfast in Eindhoven, where content, innovation and meaningful encounters came together. A setting in which the story behind Re_Work truly came into its own, and where press and makers engaged in conversation.

An intensive start, an inspiring journey and a collaboration that left us wanting more. We are therefore proud to continue supporting this client in 2026 as their full-service PR agency.

ASKO
ASKO is part of ATAG Benelux, and following our positive collaboration with ATAG, we were asked to also bring the new collection of ASKO washing machines and dryers to the attention of relevant B2B and B2C press. A logical next step. And honestly: once you see the visuals of the Scandinavian design, presented in a serene and consistent interior style, it’s immediately clear why we said yes without hesitatio

Trust that lasts

In addition to new clients, we feel especially grateful for our long-standing collaborations. We have been working with some clients for 16 years, others for 13. That is anything but a given to us. Our sincere thanks for the continued trust in MIES PR.

We stay relevant through our personal press relationships, our involvement, creative ideas and tools such as our periodic MIES in the MOOD: client-transcending mood boards that inspire and connect. The result? High-quality publications that make both clients and editors happy. In 2025 as well.

Sharing knowledge & strengthening stories

In 2025, we did more than “just” PR.

Together with Little Greene and Residence magazine, we initiated and organized a masterclass titled How to combine colour and wallpaper in your interior at the ETC in Culemborg. Inspiring, substantive and well attended.

We organized a two-day press tour for the launch of Little Greene’s new wallpaper collection In the Garden. Two days, multiple editorial teams and plenty of attention.

And we coordinated a beautiful photoshoot for Vogue Living with our clients KLAFS and Geberit. Including building a sauna on location (yes, really).

Entering 2026 with fresh energy

With a strong and diverse interior portfolio, we are stepping into 2026 with great enthusiasm. We were able to kick off the year by welcoming two familiar faces. We are thrilled about the return of Werk aan de Muur, what we’ll be doing together will remain a surprise for now, and of retail service organization VME, where 2026 began with a transfer of management.

In short: 2025 was intense, inspiring and incredibly enjoyable. And if this is a preview of what 2026 has in store? Then we say: bring it on.
