Launching Re_Work by TextielMuseum During Dutch Design Week

A collaboration that truly made our hearts beat faster.
On Tuesday, October 21, during Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, TextielMuseum launched its new table linen collection Re_Work by TextielMuseum with an inspiring press breakfast. This new collection of sustainable tableware — designed by the Eindhoven-based design collective Envisions and woven from recycled yarns by Spinning Jenny — was produced in TextielLab, the professional workshop of TextielMuseum.
Amid the group exhibition Tafelwerk, curated by Atelier Fig., design, craftsmanship, and innovation quite literally came together at the table. During breakfast, the partners involved shared insights into the intensive development process and the vision behind Re_Work. Together, we explored the topic of sustainability — one of TextielMuseum’s core ambitions. The open atmosphere led to valuable discussions about the role of museums, designers, and manufacturers in the transition toward a more sustainable textile industry. Meanwhile, guests enjoyed a beautifully presented breakfast by Voertaal Studio.
At MIES PR, we had the pleasure of supporting this launch — from engaging and inviting press, to crafting and distributing press materials, and helping shape the program’s content and structure. A special project that perfectly reflects what drives us: strong collaborations that unite craftsmanship, innovation, and communication — resulting in something both tangible and meaningful .
